Omega's De Ville Prestige, reference 434.13.40.20.06.001, has a 40 mm steel case. Thickness runs to 9.93 mm with a lug-to-lug of 46.26 mm, so it sits close on the wrist. A domed sapphire crystal with antireflective treatment covers the grey dial. The self-winding calibre 8800 drives the watch, a Master Chronometer certified movement resistant to magnetic fields up to 15,000 gauss, with a silicon balance spring and 55 hours of power reserve. Alongside the date, this Master Chronometer certification stands out, and a transparent caseback shows the finishing. The watch is fitted to a grey alligator leather strap with a steel pin buckle. Water resistance is a modest 30 metres, in keeping with a dress watch.
