Omega's De Ville Prestige 434.10.40.20.06.001 has a 40 mm steel case, 9.93 mm thick, with a lug-to-lug span of 46.26 mm. The grey dial sits under a domed sapphire crystal with antireflective treatment. Inside is the self-winding calibre 8800, a Co-Axial Master Chronometer movement certified by METAS and resistant to magnetic fields up to 15,000 gauss, running on a free sprung-balance with a silicon balance spring. Power reserve runs to 55 hours. A date function sits on the dial, and the transparent caseback shows the movement finished with Geneva waves in arabesque. The steel bracelet closes with a butterfly clasp. Water resistance is a modest 30 metres, enough for daily wear rather than diving.
