The Omega De Ville Prestige 434.10.40.20.03.001 is a men's steel watch with a 40 mm case. It measures 9.93 mm thick and 46.26 mm lug to lug, so it sits close on the wrist. The blue dial sits under a domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment inside. Inside is the self-winding calibre 8800, a Co-Axial Master Chronometer movement resistant to magnetic fields up to 15,000 gauss, with a free sprung-balance and silicon balance spring, giving 55 hours of power reserve. The date function sits on the dial, and a transparent caseback shows the movement. The watch is fitted on a steel bracelet with a butterfly clasp. Water resistance is a modest 30 metres, enough for daily wear rather than swimming.
