Omega's De Ville Prestige 434.10.40.20.02.001 has a 40 mm steel case, a fitting starting point for a dress watch built around precision timekeeping. The case measures 9.93 mm thick with a lug-to-lug span of 46.26 mm, and the silver dial sits under a domed sapphire crystal with antireflective treatment. Inside is the self-winding calibre 8800, a Co-Axial movement certified as a Master Chronometer by METAS and resistant to magnetic fields up to 15,000 gauss. It runs on a free sprung-balance with a silicon balance spring and holds a 55 hour power reserve. The date sits on the dial, and a transparent caseback shows the movement's rhodium-plated finish and Geneva waves. A steel bracelet with a butterfly clasp completes the watch. Water resistance is modest here, rated to 30 metres.
