OMEGA Constellation

Omega's Constellation, reference 131.33.41.21.06.001, measures 41 mm across in steel. The case stands 13.4 mm thick with a lug-to-lug of 44 mm, and a domed sapphire crystal with antireflective treatment on both sides covers the grey dial. Inside is the self-winding calibre 8900, a Master Chronometer movement certified by METAS with a Co-Axial escapement and resistance to magnetic fields up to 15,000 gauss. It has a free sprung-balance with silicon balance spring, two barrels mounted in series, and a power reserve of 60 hours. Beyond its chronometer certification, the watch adds a date function and a display back that shows the finished movement. The black leather strap, with a rubber and alligator leather surface, closes with a steel foldover clasp. Water resistance is set at 50 metres.
