The Laurent Ferrier Square Micro-Rotor Retro Black, reference LCF013.R5.N2W, has a 41 mm cushion-shaped case in 18k 5N red gold on an Alcantara-lined dark grey leather strap, fastened in red gold. The case measures 11.1 mm thick and has a water-resistance rating of 30 metres. The black opaline dial displays hours and minutes, with small seconds at 6 o'clock. White-coated Assegai-shaped hour and minute hands and a baton-shaped second hand are in 18k white gold. Self-winding calibre FBN 229.01 runs at 21,600 vibrations per hour with 35 jewels, a silicon double-direct-impulse escapement and a power reserve of 72 hours. A pawl-fitted micro-rotor has silent block shock protection and is fixed between the main plate and its bridge. The design took inspiration from the late 1930s.
