The IWC Schaffhausen Aquatimer Chronograph Edition "Galapagos Islands" IW379502 has a stainless steel case, coated in vulcanized rubber, measuring 45 mm across. The case stands 16.9 mm thick, with a lug width of 22 mm. This chronograph runs on the IWC-manufactured calibre 89365, a self-winding movement with 68 hours of power reserve. A sapphire crystal, convex and treated with antireflective coating on both sides, covers the black dial. The watch adds flyback and date functions alongside small seconds. The crown is a screw-down type. It comes on a black rubber strap fitted with IWC's quick-change system. Rated to 30 bar, the case holds a water resistance of 300 metres.
