The Czapek Promenade L'Ecume des Jours is self-winding, with a 38 mm steel case rated to 50 metres and a dial inspired by Boris Vian's novel. Calibre SXH5.1 uses a recycled platinum micro-rotor and has a power reserve of 60 hours. An enamel base carries hand-fixed mother-of-pearl and jade elements for this limited edition of 18 pieces. A ring of hand-painted piano keys circles the flange, recalling the novel's pianocktail. Sandblasted bridges with bevelled edges show through a see-through case back. Donzé Cadrans and MD'Art collaborate on the layered dial construction.
