The Breitling Superocean Automatic 46, reference A17378E71C1S1, is a dive watch in a 46 mm steel case standing 13.22 mm thick. A ceramic bidirectional bezel surrounds the blue dial, which sits under a cambered sapphire crystal glareproofed on both sides. The screw-locked crown adds a second gasket for extra security at depth. Inside is the self-winding calibre Breitling 17, certified as a chronometer, with a power reserve of about 38 hours and a central seconds display. Luminous hands and indices keep the dial legible in low light. The watch is fitted to a blue rubber strap with a steel folding clasp. Breitling rates the case to 300 metres.
