Breitling Superocean Automatic 42

Breitling's Superocean Automatic 42, reference U17375211B1S1, has a 42 mm case in steel and 18k red gold. The case measures 12.56 mm thick and carries a ceramic bezel that turns in one direction only. A self-winding Breitling calibre 17 drives the watch, with 38 hours of power reserve, and the black dial sits under a cambered sapphire crystal treated against glare on both sides. Luminous hands and indices keep the dial legible underwater, and a central seconds hand tracks the running time. As a dive watch it carries a screw-locked crown for extra sealing at the case. The black rubber strap closes with a folding clasp in steel. This dive watch reaches a depth rating of 300 metres before resistance runs out.
