Breitling Superocean Automatic 42

Breitling's Superocean Automatic 42 (R17375211B1S1) comes in 18k red gold with a case measuring 42 mm across and 12.56 mm thick. The unidirectional bezel carries a ceramic inlay, and a screw-locked crown with two gaskets keeps the case secure. A cambered sapphire crystal, glareproofed on both sides, covers the black dial. Inside is the self-winding Breitling Caliber 17, giving approximately 38 hours of power reserve. Luminous hands and indices keep the dial legible underwater, and a central seconds hand rounds out the display. As a dive watch it is built for real use, paired here with a black rubber strap on an 18k red gold folding clasp. The screw-locked crown backs up a water resistance rating of 300 metres.
