Breguet Marine 5517

Breguet's Marine 5517, reference 5517BR/G3/9ZU, has a 40 mm case in rose gold. The case measures 11.5 mm thick, with lugs set 22 mm apart. A sapphire crystal covers the slate dial, and a sapphire display back shows the self-winding calibre 777A, which runs with 55 hours of power reserve. The dial itself is hand-guilloché, finished by hand in the Breguet workshops. Central seconds and a date aperture at 3 o'clock complete the display, and the hands carry luminous treatment for legibility. A screw-down crown, decorated with wave motifs, protects the movement. The rose gold folding clasp secures an alligator leather strap, and the case is rated to 100 metres of water resistance.
