Breguet's Marine 5517 (ref. 5517BR/12/RZ0) is a 40 mm rose gold watch with a case that measures 11.5 mm thick. The screw-down crown is ringed with a wave motif, a detail borrowed from the Marine line's nautical language. The self-winding calibre 777A drives the watch and offers 55 hours of power reserve, visible through a sapphire display back. A silver guilloché dial carries central seconds and a date aperture at 3 o'clock, with luminous hands for legibility in low light. The dial sits under a sapphire crystal. A rose gold bracelet closes with a rose gold folding clasp. Breguet rates the case to 100 metres.
