Breguet Marine 5517

Breguet's Marine 5517 (ref. 5517BR/G3/5ZU) is a 40 mm rose gold watch built around the maison's Marine line. The case measures 11.5 mm thick with 22 mm lugs, and the screw-down crown carries the wave decoration typical of the collection. Inside, the self-winding calibre 777A runs with a 55-hour power reserve and drives a central seconds display along with a date function at 3 o'clock. The slate dial is finished by hand-guilloché work and fitted with luminous hands, all under a sapphire crystal. A sapphire caseback shows off the oscillating weight, shaped to recall a ship's rudder. The rubber strap closes with a rose gold folding clasp. It stays water resistant to a depth of 100 metres.
