Audemars Piguet Selfwinding "50th Anniversary"

Audemars Piguet's Royal Oak Selfwinding "50th Anniversary", reference 15550ST.OO.1356ST.02, is a steel model measuring 37 mm across. The case stands 8.9 mm thick and carries a blue dial with the Tapisserie pattern associated with the original 1972 Royal Oak. A sapphire crystal covers the dial, and the self-winding calibre 5900 drives the hours, minutes, centre seconds and date. The date sits in its own aperture, read alongside a running seconds display. AP fits the watch to a steel bracelet closed with a folding clasp. This particular reference marks the collection's fiftieth year with an updated case design. Water resistance stands at 50 metres.
