Audemars Piguet Selfwinding

Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Selfwinding 15551ST.ZZ.1356ST.06 measures 37 mm across in steel and stands 9.1 mm thick. It is set with diamonds, giving contrast to the grey Grande Tapisserie dial beneath the sapphire crystal. Inside is the self-winding calibre 5900, which drives the hours, minutes, centre seconds and date. Central seconds and date are the two functions on display, kept simple against the textured dial. The watch is fitted to a steel bracelet closed by an AP folding clasp. Water resistance is set at 50 metres, enough for everyday wear without much thought.
