Audemars Piguet's Royal Oak Double Balance Wheel Openworked, reference 15407ST.OO.1220ST.01, has a 41 mm steel case measuring 9.9 mm thick. The dial is fully openworked, exposing the self-winding calibre 3132 and its central seconds function. This movement carries a second balance wheel and balance-spring assembly fixed on the same axis as the first, a construction developed to improve precision and stability. A sapphire crystal covers the skeletonised dial, letting the mechanism show through from the front. The steel bracelet closes with an AP folding clasp. Water resistance reaches 50 metres, adequate for daily wear.
