Audemars Piguet's Royal Oak Double Balance Wheel Openworked, reference 15407OR.OO.1220OR.01, comes in an 18-carat pink gold case measuring 41 mm across and 9.9 mm thick. The openworked dial exposes the skeletonized movement beneath a sapphire crystal, with hours and minutes read off slender gold-tone indications set against the visible gear train. Inside is the self-winding Calibre 3132, built with a second balance wheel and balance-spring assembly mounted on the same axis to improve stability and timekeeping precision under wrist motion. Central seconds complete the display, and the whole construction is left open for the wearer to study. The matching pink gold bracelet closes with an AP folding clasp. Water resistance is rated to 50 metres.
