The A. Lange & Söhne Zeitwerk Date, reference 148.038, combines jumping numerals and a ring-date display in a 44.2 mm case of 18-carat white gold. The date switches at midnight on a grey dial crafted from 925 silver. A power-reserve indicator appears on the dial. The case measures 12.3 mm in height and has a see-through back and a 30 metre water-resistance rating. Manual-winding calibre L043.8 has a 72-hour power reserve and runs at 18,000 semi-oscillations per hour. A dark brown alligator leather strap closes with a white gold pin buckle. The movement comprises 516 parts and incorporates a constant-force escapement.
