The A. Lange & Söhne Lange 1 Tourbillon Perpetual Calendar Handwerkskunst, reference 720.048FE, combines a tourbillon and perpetual calendar in a 950 platinum case. Introduced in 2013, this is a limited edition of 15 pieces. The case measures 41.9 mm across and 12.2 mm high, has a see-through back and is water resistant to 30 metres. The grey dial is made of solid white gold, hand-engraved in relief and tremblage, with hand-painted blue outsize-date numerals, rhodiumed gold hands and moon-phase, day/night and day-of-week displays. Self-winding calibre L082.1 contains 624 parts, beats at 21,600 semi-oscillations per hour and has a 50-hour power reserve. A black alligator leather strap fastens with a 950 platinum folding clasp.
