A. Lange & Söhne Datograph Perpetual Tourbillon

The A. Lange & Söhne Datograph Perpetual Tourbillon, reference 740.036FE, combines a chronograph, perpetual calendar and tourbillon in a 950 platinum case. Introduced in 2016, this is a limited edition of 100 pieces. The case measures 41.5 mm across and 14.6 mm high, has a see-through back and is water resistant to 30 metres. The black dial is crafted from solid silver with solid-gold appliques, hour markers, rhodiumed gold and blued steel hands, outsize-date, weekday, day/night, moon-phase and power-reserve displays. Hour and minute hands and hour markers at 3, 6, 9 and 12 o'clock are luminous. Manual-winding calibre L952.2 contains 729 parts, beats at 18,000 semi-oscillations per hour and has a 50-hour power reserve. A black alligator leather strap closes with a platinum folding clasp.
