20h power reserve
Manual-winding caliber DANEVYCH-WOOD-1 is manufactured by ETA SA and features a flying tourbillon with retrograde hours and small seconds. The movement contains no jewels and delivers a 20-hour power reserve. Constructed almost entirely from wood with 154 wooden parts out of 188 total components, it uses Guaiac wood's self-lubricating properties to eliminate the need for horological oils—the smallest wooden parts measure 0.9mm with a bearing pin of just 0.12mm. Four metal springs and two sapphire crystals complete the specification, and the movement has no shock protection.
