Trained as a precision joiner, Valerii Danevych began making wooden clockworks in 2005 in Kyiv. His work extended to pocket watches, necklace watches and wristwatches with wooden movements. His Retrograde wristwatch combines retrograde hours and minutes with a flying tourbillon. The AHCI lists his membership as beginning in 2014.
