Time Module Inc. VH31

The VH31 is a sweep second meca-quartz movement manufactured by Time Module Inc. (TMI). Unlike standard quartz movements that advance the seconds hand in stepped increments, this caliber uses a mechanical seconds wheel driven by the quartz regulator, producing a smooth sweeping seconds hand similar to mechanical movements. It is a three-hand movement with hour, minute, and seconds functions, and TMI markets it as in-house. The VH31 remains in production and is commonly used in field-style watches and by watch modders seeking a mechanical-like seconds feel in a quartz-powered platform.
