RM 029 is an in-house automatic movement introduced by Richard Mille in 2013. It features an oversized date display and a variable-geometry rotor, the latter allowing automatic winding efficiency to be adjusted based on wearer activity. The caliber was developed in collaboration with Vaucher, a movement manufacturer based in Fleurier, and incorporates a skeletonised architecture. Notable special editions include those celebrating Le Mans Classic. The movement offers a 50-hour power reserve. Production has been discontinued.
