Family: RM

RM 001 is a manual-winding tourbillon movement, Richard Mille's first in-house caliber. Developed in collaboration with Renaud & Papi, the subsidiary responsible for Audemars Piguet's haute horlogerie complications, it features a skeletonised construction with a titanium baseplate and bridges. The movement includes a power reserve indicator, torque indicator, and function selector, delivering approximately 70 hours of power reserve. Launched in 2001, it established the technical and aesthetic foundation for subsequent Richard Mille calibers.
