18,000 vph (5 Hz)
The Piaget 9P is an ultra-thin hand-wound mechanical movement introduced in 1957. Measuring just 2 mm thick with a 20.5 mm diameter, it held the world record for thinnest mechanical movement at its launch. Operating at 18000 vph, it features Incabloc shock protection and was produced in-house at Piaget's La Côte-aux-Fées manufacture. The caliber remained in production for several decades and powered numerous Piaget dress watches.
