Family: 46 Series
The 46940 is an automatic movement from Orient's 46 Series, introduced in 1971 and now discontinued. It was the original caliber in this family, serving as the predecessor to the later 46943. The movement was produced in-house by Orient and licensed from the Seiko 7006, incorporating Seiko's Magic Lever winding system.
