Caliber 2500 is an automatic movement introduced by OMEGA in 1999 as the brand's first generation of Co-Axial escapement technology. It is based on the ETA 2892-A2, modified with Omega's Co-Axial escapement and a free-sprung balance wheel. The movement was used in early Seamaster and De Ville models before being succeeded by updated Co-Axial calibers. Production has been discontinued.
