Family: Tau
The Tau is a manual-winding caliber manufactured by NOMOS Glashütte, introduced in 2001 and now discontinued. It derives from the Swiss-made Peseux 7001 and incorporates a worldtime complication, making it one of the earlier worldtimer movements in the brand's history. Unlike the brand's subsequent in-house calibers, the Tau relied on an external base movement.
