The Alpha is NOMOS Glashütte's first and most widely used manual-wind movement, produced in Germany. It features a Glashütte three-quarter plate, 17 ruby bearings with Incabloc shock protection, decentralized seconds with a stop-seconds mechanism, and a Nivarox 1A balance spring. The caliber powers the Tangente, Ludwig, Tetra, Orion, Club, and 33 Series collections. It remains in production.
