NOMOS Glashütte DUW-5201

The NOMOS Glashütte DUW-5201 is an in-house automatic movement manufactured in Germany and introduced in 2014. It features 26 jewels and Incabloc shock protection, with a world time complication operated via a button at 2 o'clock that advances the hour hand while a 24-hour disc at 3 o'clock displays home time. The caliber is the first to incorporate the proprietary NOMOS Swing System escapement, representing the brand's independence from external component suppliers. Although not COSC certified, NOMOS states that each movement is adjusted to chronometer standards. It powers world time models in the Tangomat and Zurich collections.
