NOMOS Glashütte DUW 3001

The DUW 3001 is the first automatic movement equipped with the proprietary NOMOS Swing System escapement. At only 3.2mm tall, this is an incredibly flat automatic movement yet outstandingly precise. Introduced at Baselworld 2015 after 3 years of development. Features exceptional 94.2% efficiency (vs typical 80%), meaning only 5.8% energy loss to friction. Includes a balance bridge design (vs traditional balance cock) for improved shock resistance. Powers the neomatik series including Tangente, Ludwig, Orion, Metro, Minimatik, and Ahoi neomatik. Adjusted according to chronometer standards in six positions.
