The Mido caliber 60 is an automatic cam-type chronograph based on the ETA A05.H31 (with a variant using the A05.H21). It beats at 28,800 vph and delivers a 60-hour power reserve from a single barrel—a notable increase over the standard 48 hours offered by the base 7750 family. The movement contains 25 or 27 jewels and features Incabloc shock protection. Two complication layouts exist: the A05.H21 variant displays day/date at 3:00, small seconds at 9:00, a 30-minute counter at 12:00, and a 12-hour counter at 6:00; the A05.H31 variant shows date at 6:00, small seconds at 9:00, and a 30-minute counter at 3:00, with a date quickset pusher at 10:00. Mido applies the caliber 60 designation to both base movements despite their differing jewel counts and complication arrangements. The movement appears in the Ocean Star and Commander chronograph collections.
