HM1 is an automatic caliber introduced by MB&F in 2007. It features a 22K gold battle-axe-shaped rotor inspired by Grendizer manga, paired with four mainspring barrels in parallel configuration. The movement comprises 376 parts with 81 functional jewels and beats at 28,800 bph. Designed by Jean-Marc Wiederrecht of Agenhor, it was the first Horological Machine and established MB&F's distinctive design language. The movement is discontinued.
