The Gruen 835 is a manually wound mechanical movement introduced in 1935. It features a bimetallic screw balance with a Breguet hairspring for temperature compensation and includes a small seconds subdial at six o'clock. The movement powered dress watches produced by Gruen through the mid-20th century.
