Gruen 515SS

The Gruen 515SS is a manual-winding mechanical movement based on the Jeambrun 26D caliber, also produced under the FHF-ST and FHF 969-4 references. It includes a sweep seconds hand and a date complication that advances by changing the time between 21:00 and 24:00 hours. The movement features Shock Protection for enhanced durability. The 515SS was discontinued and saw use primarily during the 1970s in dress watches from the Gruen catalog.
