The AL-950 is an automatic movement manufactured by Frederique Constant. It was the first Alpina Manufacture calibre produced following the brand's comeback, representing a significant milestone in the company's vertical integration strategy. The calibre was developed entirely in-house, with parts machined on CNC equipment and each watch assembled individually by skilled horological artisans. This movement established the foundation for Alpina's subsequent manufacture movements and continues to serve as a reference point within the brand's collections.
