Family: DW 8xxx
The DW 8001 is a manual-winding in-house caliber introduced by DeWitt in 2008, part of the DW 8xxx family. It powers the Academia line and accommodates complications including retrograde seconds, chronograph, perpetual calendar, constant force tourbillon, and minute repeater. The movement remains in production.
