The CFB A1000 is an automatic movement manufactured by Carl F. Bucherer, launched in 2008 and still in production. It features a peripheral winding rotor—a weighted tungsten ring that rotates on carbon rollers around the movement's perimeter, allowing an ultra-thin profile. The movement operates at 21,600 vph (3Hz) with a 55-hour power reserve and 26 jewels, and includes the patented Dynamic Shock Absorption system. It was the first peripheral rotor automatic movement and remains a signature caliber in the CFB Axxx family.
