Family: valjoux
The Breitling Valjoux 7740 is a manual-winding chronograph introduced in 1945. It was based on the Venus 175 caliber, which Breitling used rather than developing a proprietary movement. The caliber belongs to the Valjoux family, a widely respected manufacturer of chronograph movements during the mid-20th century. It appeared in several Breitling chronographs before being discontinued.
