The Breitling caliber 69 is a mecaquartz movement introduced in 2000 and produced through approximately 2002. Based on the Frederic Piguet caliber 1271, it operates at quartz frequency while incorporating mechanical components for the chronograph function, including a vertical clutch and column wheel. The movement features 394 jewels and a split-seconds rattrapante complication, with the chronograph clutch powered mechanically rather than by the battery. It was fitted exclusively in the Chronoracer Rattrapante reference A69048.
