Armin Strom STROM-ARR25

Manual WindingIn ProductionIn-house

The ARR25 is a hand-wound mechanical minute repeater movement manufactured in-house by Armin Strom in Switzerland. Based on the ARR18 caliber, it chimes a traditional Westminster melody using four hammers and four gongs at the 12:00 position, regulated by a flying governor signed three times. A distinctive feature is the 12:59 function—a world's first—allowing the wearer to activate the longest chime sequence on demand via a switch on the left case side. The caliber equips the Minute Repeater Resonance 12:59 First Edition, limited to 25 pieces.
