The Sauterelle is a manual-winding movement introduced by Andreas Strehler in 2007. It features a jumping hour complication combined with a remontoir d'égalité, which delivers constant force to the escapement for improved accuracy throughout the power reserve. The movement is entirely in-house and remains in production. Notable timepieces using this caliber include the Sauterelle à heure sautante, which bears the same name as the French term for this particular jumping hour mechanism.
