The A. Lange & Söhne caliber L001.1 is an in-house mechanical double chronograph movement with a flyback function, introduced in 2004. It was the first double rattrapante mechanical chronograph in the world, featuring two chronograph hands and two rattrapante hands. Both pairs of hands can be stopped independently, allowing the stopped rattrapante hands to rejoin the still-running chronograph hands for comparative and intermediate time measurements of events lasting up to 30 minutes. The movement remains in production and is featured in the Double Split and Triple Split models.
