Lithuanian watch brand combining robust, oversized case designs with Russian and Japanese movements and Swiss tritium illumination technology. Known for extreme-condition timepieces tested in rallies, cave expeditions, and stratospheric launches.
Koliz Vostok company was established in August 2003 with the goal of creating wristwatches combining modern design with modified Vostok movements developed exclusively by Runim company. The first Vostok-Europe collection debuted at BaselWorld 2004, with models named after technological and scientific achievements. By 2007, distribution expanded to 30 countries. In 2008, VE began producing special editions for NATO forces. A 2009 partnership with Swiss company mb-microtec introduced tritium tube illumination. After 2014, when Russian movement imports stopped, VE transitioned to Japanese movements from SII, TMI, S.Epson, and Miyota. The brand pioneered vertically-mounted tritium tubes in 2011 and introduced the first NE88 column-wheel automatic chronograph in 2014. Recent innovations include titanium and bronze cases (2015), ladies' collection Undinė (2018), and solar-powered movements (2024).
