Independent Austrian watchmaker founded by husband-and-wife team Richard and Maria Kristina Habring, producing around 50 bespoke timepieces annually.

Richard Habring trained at the watchmaker's school in Karlstein, Austria, starting in 1985. He later worked on complications for IWC (including the Doppelchronograph and tourbillons), A. Lange & Söhne, and Jaeger-LeCoultre under mentor Günter Blümlein. Maria Kristina Habring partnered with him professionally and personally after meeting around 2000. In October 2004, they founded Habring Uhrentechnik OG in Völkermarkt, Austria, establishing Austria's first modern watch brand after relocating from Saxony, Germany. The brand launched with its first watch in 2004, growing the collection by one model per year with a maximum of 12 pieces each, targeting 50 watches annually. All watches are hand-finished by the couple. Initially using outsourced movements, they developed proprietary calibers including the A11 debuted in the 2014 Felix model to ensure independence amid ETA supply restrictions. They focus on engineering-driven, small-scale production with local supplier partnerships, prioritizing reliability, precision, and unique designs. Watches are sold directly or via select partners. The brand has won multiple GPHG awards.
