Seiko Prospex

The Seiko Prospex, reference SBEC009, is a chronograph with a 42.5 mm steel case. The case is 15.1 mm thick, with a lug-to-lug measurement of 50 mm and a water-resistance rating of 100 metres. Self-winding calibre 8R46 contains 34 jewels and has a power reserve of approximately 45 hours. A dual-curved sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating on the inner surface covers the dial. The clasp has a three-fold construction with push-button release; LumiBrite is applied to the hands and indices. A see-through case back provides a view of the movement. Movement accuracy is plus 25 to minus 15 seconds per day. The dial has small seconds and a tachymeter.
