Seiko Astron

The Seiko Astron, reference SSE003J1, is a chronograph with a 44.6 mm titanium case. The case measures 13.3 mm thick, with a water-resistance rating of 100 metres. Solar-powered calibre 8X82 contains 12 jewels and operates for approximately 6 months when fully charged. A sapphire crystal covers the dial; the dial has a date display. The clasp has a three-fold construction with push-button release; LumiBrite is applied to the hands and indices. Movement accuracy is plus or minus 15 seconds per month without signal reception at temperatures between 5 and 35 degrees Celsius. The lug width measures 22 mm. The bezel has a ceramic insert.
