Rolex Yacht-Master 40 mm

The Rolex Yacht-Master 40 mm, reference 126622-0002, comes in Oystersteel and platinum, a combination Rolex calls Rolesium. The case measures 40 mm across and 12 mm thick, with a monobloc middle case and screw-down back. A platinum bidirectional rotatable bezel with a 60-minute graduation sits atop the case, and a Cyclops lens over the date sits on the sapphire crystal. Inside is the self-winding calibre 3235, a Rolex manufacture movement certified as a Superlative Chronometer, giving around 70 hours of power reserve. The bright blue dial carries luminous hands and indices for legibility in low light. It is fitted to a steel Oyster bracelet with a folding Oysterlock clasp and an Easylink comfort extension link. The screw-down Triplock crown helps keep the case watertight to 100 metres.
